Well folks, today we’re diving into the hypothetical world of grappling with a silverback gorilla. Now, before we get started, let me just say that grappling with a wild animal is never a good idea and I highly recommend against it. But for the sake of imagination, let’s see how this could potentially go down.
First things first, let’s set the scene. You’re standing across from a massive silverback gorilla, who is staring you down with its piercing eyes. Your heart is racing, your palms are sweaty, and you’re wondering how you got yourself into this mess in the first place.
You take a deep breath and begin to circle around the gorilla, trying to assess its movements and find an opening. The gorilla, however, doesn’t seem too impressed by your fancy footwork and charges straight at you.
You quickly drop to the ground and pull guard, hoping to catch the gorilla in a triangle choke or an armbar. But as soon as you hit the mat, the gorilla lands on top of you with the force of a freight train, knocking the wind out of your lungs.
You’re now pinned beneath the gorilla’s massive, muscular body, with its powerful arms wrapped around your waist. You try to squirm your way out, but the gorilla’s grip is unbreakable.
At this point, you’re starting to realize that maybe grappling with a silverback gorilla wasn’t the best idea after all. But then again, you’re already in the thick of it, so you might as well give it your all.
You manage to wiggle one arm free and attempt to apply a kimura lock on the gorilla’s arm. But before you can even tighten your grip, the gorilla flexes its arm and snaps your own in two like a twig.
And just like that, it’s all over. You lay there on the ground, defeated and broken, while the gorilla simply stands up and saunters away as if nothing ever happened.
So there you have it, folks. Grappling with a silverback gorilla is probably not the best idea, and it’s best to stick to grappling with other humans. At least you can say you gave it your all, right?
