Kids BJJ Orange Ranking Belts
Hello again, fellow primates. The level of orange BJJ belt is after your child has been in BJJ for at least 6 years and has been awarded 4 stripes on their yellow belt; at that point, they will be eligible to get their orange belt with a white stripe. Expect them to be in this belt for a min of 1 year before graduating to a solid orange BJJ belt, then to an orange BJJ belt with a black stripe after another year. They will stay at this level of orange belt until the minimum age of 13 or have spent a minimum of 3 years in this belt grouping. At which time they will be eligible to get their green belt with a white stripe. If they turn 16 years of age as an orange belt, they could be eligible for their adult blue belt or purple belt, depending on their instructor’s requirements.
