Kids BJJ Yellow Ranking Belts
Greetings again, fellow primates. The BJJ yellow belt level is after your child has been in BJJ for at least 3 years; at that point, they will be eligible to get their yellow belt with a white stripe. Expect them to be in this belt for a minimum of 1 year before graduating to a solid BJJ yellow belt, then a BJJ yellow belt with a black stripe after another year. They will stay in this yellow grouping of belts for at least 3 years or until the minimum age of 10. After that, if they are older than 13, they could be eligible for advancement to their orange belt with a white stripe. Finally, if they turn 16 years old as a yellow belt, they would be eligible for their adult blue belt.
